A society divided between Les Affamés ("The Starving Ones") from above and Les Affamés from below.
A world driven by hunger and desire, where predators hunt and the vulnerable are hunted. A world of oppressors and oppressed, where power is seized with tooth and claw - violent, ruthless and unforgiving.
Yet another force begins to grow beneath the surface.
Survival becomes an act of resistance: a seed planted underground, a whispered secret passed from one voice to another, a breath held deep beneath the earth.
A hidden network of resistance emerges to disrupt the established order and keep hope alive. It carries the promise of another future, armed only with poetry: words as light as feathers, yet as strong and unyielding as dignity itself.
To lift up the weary.
To restore the humiliated.
To feed the hungry.
To awaken the forgotten.
And, at last, to let them dance and sing together.
"I needed a brutalist scenography, inspired by cinematic references such as George Miller's Mad Max (1979), Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982), and Luc Besson's Subway (1985)." Marion Motin
